Departing from Montezuma Lot (see schedule of events)
Canyon-Ball Run (117 miles)
Canyon-Ball Run takes you straight to the heart of the Rocky Mountains. After you've braved Fremont Pass, stop in the historic silver mining town of Leadville, the highest incorporated city in the U.S. for a stroll down Harrison Avenue. Then mosey on down to Vail via the twists and turns of Tennessee Pass, where the mighty 10th Mountain Division trained during WW2.
On the Rocks
If you want to experience the Rocky Mountains, it doesn't get much Rockier than this. After leaving Keystone, head west on I-70 for a short stretch before heading up Fremont Pass. Cruise by Copper Mountain on your way up to Leadville, a historic silver mining town that also happens to be the highest incorporated town in the U.S. But we can get you higher. On The Rocks will take you by the super scenic town of Twin Lakes and directly under the three highest peaks in Colorado - Mount Elbert (14.440 feet), Mount Massive (14,428 feet) and Mount Harvard (14,421 feet) - on your way to the summit of Independence Pass. Make sure you stop at the Independence Pass sign for a photo and to soak in all that Colorado beneath your feet.
Triple By-Pass (147 miles)
Be still my heart. Heading north out of Keystone, you'll traverse the Rocky Mountains via Ute, Berthoud and Loveland passes. Take a breather at the scenic Green Mountain Reservoir or Winter Park, a lovely little ski town right below the Continental Divide.
